How Pre-lit Christmas Trees Can Save You Time

How Pre-lit Christmas Trees Can Save You Time
By Andrew Caxton

If you are tired of dealing with miles and miles of Christmas lights and finding outlets for all of them, then you may want to consider a prelit artificial Christmas tree. It is sometimes frustrating to get all of the lights on the tree just to find out that they do not work. I have had enough of unwinding and stringing lights to last me for years.

This is why I am buying a prelist artificial Christmas tree. I am going to save that valuable time and my sanity by having the lights already on the tree. My old tree had seen better days and not that we have moved into our new home, we need a new tree, too.

I especially enjoy the fact that the tree and lights come all together in one easily installed unit. I have wrestled with my previous Christmas tree for many years and I am tired of the wrestling. It is very scary when the tree seems to have a life of its own and then getting the lights on it didn’t help with the stress level.

If you want an easier way to put up your Christmas tree, then you will want to purchase a prelit artificial Christmas tree. They are about the same price as the regular, lightless version and will save you time, energy, and decrease your stress.

You will find that you can put this Christmas tree up in very little time and in much less time than your old tree. It will be simpler to put up and will give you more time for the more important things in life, such as sitting around the decorated tree!

It used to be that I would dedicate most of one day to putting up my Christmas tree and decorating it. Now I can put up my pre-lit artificial Christmas tree and decorate it within an hour or so. That is a huge time difference!

If you are tired of dealing with the old Christmas tree and lights, then you will want to choose one of these great new Christmas trees. By saving time with the tree, you will have more time to spend with your family and friends. Isn’t that what you want?

Decorating with Christmas Lights: The Ultimate Christmas Spirit B

Decorating with Christmas Lights: The Ultimate Christmas Spirit
By Gail Leino

Christmas would just not be the same without Christmas lights, and they do not have to go just on the tree. An entire holiday theme can be devoted to the use of Christmas lights in all shapes, sizes, and placed in many different locations with different patterns. Create your own decorations using lights, and make your home the talk of the neighborhood and the winner of the “Best Decorations” award every year. Even if you live in an apartment, you can use lights to decorate your windows and if you have a balcony, you can drape lights across the railings as well as around the balcony door.

For those who have a home, do something with the lights besides just place them along the roof. Make a Christmas tree or sleigh on your roof or in your yard using different colored lights. Create a wreath on the top of your roof or in your yard. Instead of buying a wreath for your door, make one using Christmas lights instead.

One can be very creative with the use of Christmas lights, even to the point of creating giant candy canes with red and white lights. Of course, you have to have the model in order to wrap the lights around it, but for the creative and holiday-spirited person, it certainly is better than going to the holiday store and buying something that has already been put together by someone else.

Holiday time if full of joy and happiness for most people, so use your lights to transfer that to the world for a few months. Using a combination of different kinds of lights will set off your home in all its holiday glory – big bulbs, small bulbs, twinkle lights, web lights, chasers, and even tiny white lights all mixed together will create a beauty that is beyond comparison. Scatter the colors rather than using just one color in order to set your home apart from the others.

Christmas Tree Themes Make Decorating Both Easier To Do As Well As More Fun For Everyone!

Christmas Tree Themes Make Decorating Both Easier To Do As Well As More Fun For Everyone!
By Anne Clarke

If you are a collector, one of the most exciting Christmas tree themes may be right in your own home! If you have items such as model cars, clowns, stamps, etc, (things that are not too heavy to be used as ornaments) then find ways to attach your collection pieces onto your Christmas tree. This is a great way to showcase your prized collectibles with a festive twist!

· For a child’s room, a youthful theme is great! Use a small artificial tree, add a string of lights, and tie on normal, everyday items. These can be crayons, small toys, etc. Add ribbons, bows or any other small decorations. This is a great way to bring, color, light and festivity to your little one’s room! If they are a toddler or younger, make sure that the tree is out of reach, though, and that cords are as well.

· Food! This is a fun theme and is easy, inexpensive and beautiful all at once! You can decorate your Christmas tree with candies, popcorn strings, wafers, etc.

The following Christmas tree themes are great holiday ideas. Place a small teacup themed tree on the kitchen table, a snowman theme by the front, door, etc! The sky is your limit when it comes to how creatively you use these themes!

Use any color schemes, or angels, or a music theme, you can do up your tree with a Santa Clause motif, and more. Many people love nativity and wise men scenes, and imagine a tree composed of virtually all gold stars–even garland of gold stars! Another good color scheme is to use blue and silver, have a snowflakes theme with snow and snowflakes, or even a tree decorated with all kinds of Christmas candy!

Tips When Planning a Christmas Karaoke Party

Tips When Planning a Christmas Karaoke Party
By Mike Selvon

Who knew Aunt Judy had a voice like Olivia Newton-John? Wasn’t it funny when the little ones refused to sing the word “Grandma” in the “Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer” song, for fear of making Granny feel bad? Who is the worst singer in your family? Will Uncle John belt out a melodramatic rendition of Elvis’s “Blue Christmas” after a few glasses of eggnog? Christmas karaoke can be a hilarious pre-dinner or post-dinner activity to liven up this year’s Christmas gathering.

To host a karaoke party at Christmas, you will need a karaoke system to play the songs, videos and scrolling words. Aim for an all-in-one that comes with all necessary cables and microphones. You may want to wrap it up and give it as a gift or you might want to have this item set up as guests arrive and keep it at your house to entertain guests year after year.

Set it up after dinner to stave off the food comas and keep the party going. For $100, you could buy the SDAT Professional Karaoke Machine with MP4 Playback and it plays karaoke songs on CD, mp3, DVD and CD G. Or for $117, you can get the Emerson GM955, which includes a 7-inch monitor and speakers, but also connects to separate units as well.

This all-in-one karaoke system also includes a special tone-control microphone and comes with features like echo and auto voice control. The Singing Machine STVG-718 CD+G Karaoke System is a very similar system for $150 that includes a camera too.

Lastly, The Song Station, recommended by People and Rolling Stone magazines, is one of the more impressive units to look at, boasting a tall stand which scrolls lyrics and equally tall detached speakers for superior sound quality. Ranging between $200 and $250, this machine comes with a number of special features, as well as 53,000 built-in songs, and is a must for anyone looking to host a karaoke party a few times a year.

Next, you’ll need music for your Christmas karaoke festivities. Amazon and eBay are good places to look for discounted karaoke online, but specialty sites like Acekaraoke are also great resources. A good starter is the Music Maestro 5 CD G Christmas Club pack, which includes the scrolling lyrics and comes with 77 traditional tracks, including renditions of Elvis Presley, Andy Williams, Neil Diamond, the Eagles, Pat Boone, Mariah Carey and Garth Brooks. For the kids, the Singer’s Dream series offers 6 karaoke DVDs or CD+Gs in a bundle with Christmas Holiday Hits, Pop Christmas Party, Christmas Classics, Christmas Memories, Kids Christmas Favorites and Kids Sing Christmas. Sound Choice Karaoke also offers an eight-pack of holiday favorites for everyone from Avril Lavigne and Celine Dion to Perry Como and Nat King Cole. Forever Hits Pro also offers a great one disc Christmas collection that includes Brenda Lee, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin and Bing Crosby.

Once you have the songs and the system, you are ready for your Christmas karaoke get together. You might want to make your karaoke fun into a game or contest by picking a few judges and awarding prizes. Or you can put names and numbers into a hat to create a karaoke singer line-up, with each person singing the number of the song they have picked.

By turning karaoke into a game, you can be sure everyone will get involved in the fun, adding extra encouragement for the reticent members of the family who may insist, “No, no, no, my voice is awful.” Most systems come with more than one microphone input so the extremely shy can sing a duet. There is no better way to get the family into the Christmas spirit than by partaking in the age-old practice of caroling, yet with an updated karaoke twist!

A whole world of information about christmas karaoke eagerly awaits you from Mike Selvon portal. Visit us for more insider tips on 7 things karaoke.
