3 Ways to Make Money Before Christmas 2009

3 Ways to Make Money Before Christmas 2009
By Claire Basilona

Here are 3 ways to make money by Christmas time. But you have to start as soon as now if you really want to have additional money to buy gifts for your loved ones. Good luck!

Start a Christmas-themed businesses

This is going to be one of the most profitable businesses as Christmas season is getting nearer. You can

-Start a Christmas lighting installation business

-Make Christmas cards and sell them

-Make Christmas crafts and decorations and sell them to your neighborhood. If you’re really good at those you can even sell them on the Internet for more profit.

Through the internet, of course

There are so many business opportunities on the Internet. I’m sure you’ve heard the same thing and if you’re a newbie, I bet you’re probably having a hard time deciding which one is the best. You also have to consider the advertising efforts. It all depends on how much time and sweat you’re willing to devote. You can choose from affiliate marketing, selling on eBay, freelance writing, network marketing, blogging, and lots more. I recommend that you do only one and focus on that. As for the advertising, do the same thing. Choose one, and then do it aggressively. If you try to do all at once assuming that you’ll get better results, then you’ll end up with nothing. You’ll get confused on which to focus mostly and it will get tiresome. You’ll end up wasting your efforts. Instead of being a jack of all trades, it’s better to be a master at one.

Invest

You don’t need thousands of cash if you’re going to invest. There are many investment opportunities that you can look around on the Internet that will suit you best. Though some investment programs don’t give high returns, it really adds up. But you have to be patient. And if you really want to make a little money to add in your pocket you have to start as soon as possible. Whatever kind of investment you choose, the important thing is you set aside some money to invest and expect it to multiply by Christmas time.

Take your business to the next level with this Powerful Advertising Method

Cheap Christmas Decorating Ideas

Christmas Yard Decorations - Plenty of Festive Options
By Harold Baldwin

Christmas is many people’s favorite time of year, and besides the festivities, decorations are high on the list. Both indoor and outdoor decorations are great, and many people love putting them up. I’m an enormous fan of outdoor decorations and here are some or my all time favorites.

Everyone loves Christmas lights, and they are better and there are many more options than even just a few years ago. Modern LED lights use far less energy as well. The colors and shapes are pretty incredible these days. My favorites include white and clear lights, as these are visible the furthest, as well as multi colored strings and red and green single colored strings. Of course they are available in more colors than you would ever guess. Commercial lights are not much more expensive and may be more economical in the long run as they last longer and the bulbs rarely burn out. Even battery powered lights are available for places not close to commercial power, like the end of my driveway.

Blow up decorations are very popular with the kids. To some extent they’ve replaces rigid plastic outside decorations, and they are bigger, light up, and very festive. We have a blow up Santa the kids love.

Nativity scenes are also popular, and both individual pieces and complete sets are available. Outdoor silhouettes and motifs, wreaths, and both real and artificial decorated trees are also very popular.

Even an apartment dweller can put up a small wreath outside their door.

For a look at the wide variety of choices in Christmas Yard Decorations as well as some inspiration, visit Christmas Yard Decor and Christmas Lights.

Decisions, Decisions: Buying Christmas Decorations

Decisions, Decisions: Buying Christmas Decorations by Art Gib

Christmas decorations come in all shapes, sizes, and colors, and every year more and more products hit the market. Trees, bulbs, lights, stockings, wreaths, and ornaments are just the tip of the iceberg. With so many products and so many varieties available it can sometimes be a chore just choosing your favorite decorations. The tree and the wreath are two of the most popular symbols of Christmas, and can often pose a buying dilemma for consumers.

The most widely used Christmas decoration is the tree. When choosing your tree the first thing you will want to do is decide whether or not you want a real one. If you go with a real tree you will want to get an estimate of the size you are looking for and then head out to the tree lot and find one that you love. Strap it onto your car and go. You’re done.

With a fake tree you will also need to get an estimate of the size. While you’re out shopping you will see both un-lit and pre-lit trees. The pre-lit will be done in either color or white. The colored lights add a fun touch to your holiday season, while the colored lights make the tree seem more elegant. It’s entirely your preference at this point.

Keep in mind that the lights on these trees do sometimes go out, but you don’t have to string them. With the unlit tree, of course, you will have to string the lights yourself. As far as fake tree styles go you will have a great variety to choose from than the real tree. Fake trees can be tall, short, fat, skinny, full, bare, and even upside down. Find one that you love and go with that.

The Christmas wreath is another highly popular addition to the home during the holiday season. It is, of course, hung on the door where everybody can see it. Like the tree, the wreath can be purchased in a variety of different types and styles. The most common type is probably the evergreen wreath, decorated simply with a bright red bow attached, often in the top center of the wreath.

This simple wreath absolutely makes one feel the spirit of the season. Many people prefer something a little bit fancier, however. For those people there are wreaths available decorated with ribbon, bulbs, clusters of plastic fruit, and frosted pinecones. These wreaths are fancy and elegant and give the home a look of elegance.

If you can’t find a product in the stores that is appealing to your tastes you may want to consider making your own. Of course, you can’t necessarily make your own tree, but the right decorations can make any tree beautiful. The wreath is another story. Many people buy a plain wreath and decorate it with their own ribbon and objects.

These customized wreaths are often beautiful and represent what the person loves or their personality. Whatever you choose to do, make sure you love it and can look at it day in and day out for a month.

Berkeys Wreaths (http://www.berkeyswreaths.com) sells wreaths, including a Christmas wreath. Art Gib is a freelance writer.
