Christmas Toys & Xmas Gifts Shopping - Best Christmas Ideas 2009

Part of the wonderful Christmas Traditions is Christmas Shopping which can be both a pleasure or alternatively as Christmas draws near a complete pain in the neck. Christmas is a fun time of year & everybody loves Christmas decorations, putting up the Xmas Tree, & wrapping & unwrapping gifts.

If you’ve ever had to race about as the big day nears searching for that Christmas gift that one of the kids so desperately wants then you’ll understand what I’m talking about. There’s also that sick feeling you get when time is running out & you still a list of people to buy for & you have run out of inspiration. It’s certainly amazing how it’s possible to walk around a shopping mall or department store full of items to buy & not be able to find a suitable Christmas Gift for somebody special.

There’s no time extensions at Christmas, the Xmas gifts need to be there under the tree & we all want to see that look fo genuine pleasure on the face of the receiver - rather than a look of disappointment when they open another parcel with hankies or another tie. Personally, I find Christmas Shopping a real chore & can never seem to find the right gifts unless I have some sort of idea or clue before I start - the harder I look the less I seem to find.

Shopping for kids gifts & Christmas toys can be easier as there’s always such a massive range to choose from. But as any parent knows kids are pretty fussy once they start to grow up & Christmas is the time they often look forward to that special gift that’s perhaps a bit more expensive - the one they’ve been told to wait until Christmas for. Usually these sorts of Christmas Presents are the really popular ones they’ve been hounding you for because their friend’s have them or they’ve been advertised a lot on TV.

Unfortunately, they’re also the ones that tend to sell out faster & where the back orders are for January. As I know too well this makes for a rather stressful time as of course you want your children to have the very thing you know they have their heart set on.

My kids are really into games like Bakugan right now, & it seems that there’s always another element of the game just been released or that one of them is asking for Transformers Toys after Revenge of the Fallen & Ben 10 have been getting a lot of hype around the place leading up to Christmas this year & both mine want some special Omnitrix gadget this year. Luckily it’s a cheapie, as money isn’t exactly flowing like water this year.

Tiffany is a bit easier, she still loves Barbie, which makes life a little easier, but she’s growing up & now expects more sophisticated Christmas gifts. Translation - more expensive. A good compromise can be something your children want, which will also be useful to them & you. Last year a kick scooter for one of the boys was a great hit as he could whizz down the street on it, then fold it up & put it in a bag when he jumped on the bus or wanted to go inside the mall… Not bad for an investment under $100.00. It saved me from going to pick him up with his bike many times throughout the year.

This Christmas no matter what you intend to buy & however much you want to spend on those Xmas Gifts there’s plenty of Christmas Toys around to choose from. Like so many other things these days - it’s easier on the internet. If somebody would have said 5 years ago that I’d be doing my Christmas shopping searching & most of my purchasing on the net I would have laughed in their face - but it’s Xmas & that’s what I’m doing, along withover 50% of the population. I find it’s quicker, easier & more importantly cheaper. It’s easy to compare prices. the shipping costs are low & you know the goods will arrive quickly & safely when you purchase from a large retail site like Amazon or Zappos.

So if you’re looking for Christmas Gifts or Christmas Toys for the kids this year then do check out some of the excellent Christmas Gifts Shopping Sites which have researched what’s hot this year for you & found the most competitive prices. Buying now means you won’t have that last minute rush or horrible feeling when you get to the store to find that the toys & gifts you wanted are sold out until next year.

Have a great Christmas & enjoy the Holidays safely & in Peace.

The Christmas Season is the Gift of Joy From Jesus - Discover It

On the outset, Jesus had one message - that the purpose of life is the pursuit of joy. There is nothing more and nothing less. Without a single spoken word, Jesus, born of no worldly riches, brought the experience of joy to the world.

It is possible to learn how reaching for better feeling emotions will alter the appearance of your life. Joy and happiness is a vibrational condition which allows for things to work. Be it your health, your relationships your resources for living or your jest for life, joy provides the freedom of no resistance and things go your way.

Why this time of the year is different is because so much of humanity is placing their attention on the goodness, the happiness and the love that is brewing. And if you understand that you can align with that massive energy force, you can ride the wave of workability. You do this by freeing yourself of any reason to be feeling less than happy. You just keep moving in that direction.

It’s not difficult because you only need to reach for better feeling thoughts about everything that comes your way. This is the deliberate choice you always have. You can expect things to be miraculous or you can be influenced by the situations and circumstances of your personal life. That is a remarkable gift each of us possesses.

It needn’t be just a replay from the past. Suppose we caught up to the clearest understanding of the message of Jesus and by doing so change everything. When He said, “Ask and it is given”, it was literal and when we learn how this works you will wonder why it was you never were taught this at a younger age.

Joy is the dominant emotion of the Christmas season. The emotion is such a strong vibration that when you are aligned with it, you experience your life as magical and wonderful. When things are not working as you would like, when you are feeling less than happy, you are simply misaligned. When you fall into a state of bliss, magic happens. I say, when you fall into it because so few are skilled at the knowing of how to set up the condition in which it is natural.

This is the time of the year when emotion can be quite intense and often it can be miss interpreted. Being down or a bit turned off by the Christmas Season as many people are is simply a sign that what you desire and what you are experiencing is not aligned. What’s off is the focus of your attention.

Joy is all you must reach for and then begin immediately looking for the evidence that it is indeed created and finding itself into the present. No matter where you are on the scale of joy you can advance to higher places. Joy is the state when what is coming to you experiences little if any resistance and greater and greater degrees of freedom. This is just the way it is and the way it has always been. When you are in love, things work.

Ask, or want or desire and it is given to you.

Everything you ever got in your life, whether it was a situation, or circumstance or an event or physical reality, it was always preceded by thoughts. There was no physicalness to its reality, and it began with a thought. What you desire is becoming when you are happy. It is moving into manifested reality. And it is the state of joy that allows for it to show up. This is what Jesus meant when He so often said ask and it is given and believe it and it shall be.

Jesus is there to remind you always that joy is the answer and that if you will but seek it, the things you desire in life will move to rendezvous with you. Here is the thing, by focusing on the realities that bring your emotions down and away from the joy that Jesus pointed us to, life attracts undesirable experiences that pull you from the energies of joy.

Wish that everyone finds all the happiness they desire. Christmas sayings are many. Joy to the world. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Good will towards men. This is real.

There are absolutely no negatives is the messages of Jesus. In fact nothing surrounding the ideas associated with Jesus was to make anyone feel bad. Unfortunately mans interpretations led to institutionalized structures of pain and suffering, a necessary path to eternal happiness.

The easiest way to make what I am talking about here real is to look and keep looking for the evidence that joy is all around you, and when you begin than process, you will begin to see small things happening all around you. Don’t stop, keep looking and feeling the better feelings that come with it.

The law of attraction clearly sheds significant light of the brilliance of the massage of joy Jesus brings to the world every moment of our lives.

Joy is the answer for every problem you could ever face. Learn so much more by reading the practical applications of the law of attraction by giving me a search. Your life will increase significantly. Have a wonderful, joyful holiday season.

So this year take the joy the season evokes and get inside it by sharing it. Learn Jesus as the happy and joyful life force He is. After all Jesus was the absolute emotional mix of whatever God represents for anyone.

May you carry the joy you create everywhere you go?

This site’s primary purpose is to advance the notion that Jesus should not be remembered for anything but the love that He came to share with humankind. It covers the unfortunate error in teaching shame, guilt, unworthiness and fear. It’s main emphasis is directed towards children and the advantages of teaching Jesus’ unconditional love for all of God’s children.

How to Use Budget Catering With Christmas Party Food

The holiday party season is here so what I thought I would do is suggest some party appetizer ideas for your Christmas party food. What you want to keep in mind to maintain a low-cost budget catering menu is to incorporate easy finger foods along with your holiday buffet.

As the party host, be creative with your presentation of your Christmas party food and make it easy for your guests to pick up and eat. Create an interactive buffet station by using skewers for your vegetables at the crudites station. Make a vegetable garden presentation using skewered vegetables “planted” in wheat grass.

At the dessert station, build your own fondue station. Again using skewers, offer strawberries, bananas, rice crispy treats, Oreos, marshmallows, to name a few easy finger foods your guests can choose from. If you are trying to watch your weight, select the fruit over the cookies and walk away from the dessert station before you dip into the chocolate!

Christmas party food has a tendency to be very rich and abundant in calories so if you are trying to watch your weight, select the low-calorie alternatives. Party appetizer ideas to watch your weight include selecting the fresh vegetable crudites versus the macaroni cheese bites. Even though the spinach and artichoke and cheese dips are more delicious, dip your veggies into the salsas or various flavored humus dips if offered.

As a host, serving crudites, dips and small bites is an effective use of budget catering. To stretch your dollars further offer easy finger foods such as an anti-pasta station with sliced meats, cheeses and skewered tortellini.

Other party appetizer ideas to help keep your costs low include tray-passing heartier items such as beef or turkey sliders, pigs in blankets, shrimp cocktail and shot glasses filled with soups. You can serve either hot soups such as the classic favorite tomato soup or a cold gazpacho or cucumber soup. By tray-passing these items, you are able to control the portions and timing of the food.

To help maintain a low-cost budget catering menu at the bar, feature a holiday special drink such as a punch with cranberry, Sprite or 7-up, orange juice or pineapple juice and mint leaves. Maybe serve a special alcoholic beverage like a peppermint martini garnished on the rim with crushed peppermint.

I hope you found these party appetizer ideas helpful for your Christmas party food. You can keep costs at a minimum with budget catering by controlling the portions via tray-passing some easy finger foods. Until next time, remember the Budget Bash mantra: make it simple, delicious, stylish, fun & economical to all!

Trade Your Holiday Stressings For Christmas Blessings

When I talk with other moms about their December plans, they’re usually all about Christmas. They have cookies to bake, decorations to set up, meals to plan, a house to clean, presents to buy, expectations they will never be able to meet. Sometimes these moms even tell me, “I can’t wait for this all to be over so I can relax!”

These activities may be part of a meaningful Christmas, but if that’s all Christmas has become for you, it may be time to reconsider your reasons for celebrating.

Where is the joy of the season when you’re too exhausted to experience it?

Where is the pleasure in spending time with your family and loved ones when you’re too busy to sit and talk with them?

How can their be delight in giving your gifts when you know you spent more than you can afford on something

This year, instead of stressing about the holiday season and its accompanying expectations, I invite you to focus on the blessings of Christmas.

Whatever Christmas means in your home, make that the one focal point of all your planning and celebrations. It’s easy to be distracted by unrealistic expectations, the high costs of Christmas, and those things we do every year, even though we’re not really sure why. This year, celebrate intentionally and with purpose.

For instance, in my family, Christmas is a celebration of Jesus Christ’s birth. If I can keep that one thought at the forefront of my plans, everything else fits into place. I remain focused throughout the season and our Christmas becomes focused, meaningful, relaxing, and satisfying.

This year, instead of getting caught up in the holiday stressings, take a deep break and let yourself enjoy your Christmas blessings.
